Being pro-independence is not a crime. What is a crime is to lock people up in gaol for their political ideas.
We, who belong to the Grandparents for Freedom TACA D'OLI (oil stain) are responsible, as before, during and after October 1, we helped in the preparation, we participated, and we asked the citizens' mandate to be taken into account, for in democracy, it is ballots and not the courts, that count?
We have the same level of responsibility, if not more. The hostages you have imprisoned are, after all, political prisoners and exiles who followed the mandate of the people; and following the mandate of the people is never a crime.
If you want to continue with this show trial, imprison us all. We are easy to find because we always take to the street in a peaceful and orderly way.
We also want to make it clear that the day we liberate ourselves and get the Republic - and that we shall - we will not act against anyone, we don't hate, or act, out of revenge.
For all these reasons.
WE STATE:
That all the undersigned took part, to various degrees, in the preparation, the organization and the support of the October 1 [referendum]. We went early in the morning to the polling stations. We hid the ballot boxes, we were officials at the polling tables, we were supevisors, we were all times voters, defending the schools with our bodies (some were brutally attacked by the occupying forces) and we went are at the counting of the ballots. All of this voluntarily and knowing what we were exposed to.
We also took to the streets on October 3, and we went to all the demonstrations in favour of the political and exiled prisoners and we continue our struggle, always peacefully, for the right of self-determination.
That is why we confess our guilt for wanting the Catalan Republic and having urged our political representatives, now imprisoned or in exile, to put out the ballot boxes and to go ahead with the Referendum, which is why
WE REQUEST:
Given our actions, we are those who ought to go into prison, in exchange for the current political prisoners, and take their place in this trial against a majority of the Catalan people.

MANIFEST D’AUTOINCULPACIÓ 1 d’OCTUBRE
Els qui integrem la TACA D'OLI dels avis i àvies per la Llibertat som responsables, perquè abans, durant i després de l'1 d'octubre, vam ajudar en la preparació, vam participar, i vam demanar que es tingués en compte el mandat de la ciutadania, doncs en democràcia el que val són les urnes i no els tribunals.
Tenim el mateix grau de responsabilitat, o més. Que els ostatges que teniu empresonats, doncs al cap i a la fi els presos polítics i les preses polítiques i els exiliats/des van seguir el mandat del poble; i seguir el mandat del poble, mai no és delicte.
Si vol eu continuar amb aquesta farsa de judici, empresoneu-nos a tots. Som fàcils de localitzar doncs sortim sempre de forma pacifica i ordenada.
També volem deixar clar que el dia que ens alliberem i aconseguir la República, que ho aconseguirem, no actuarem contra ningú, nosaltres no odiem, ni actuem per venjances.
Per totes aquestes raons.
EXPOSEM:
Que tots els sotasignats vam participar. En diferents graus, en la preparació, en l'organització i en el suport de l'1 d'octubre. Vam anar a primeres hores de la matinada als col·legis electorals. vam amagar urnes, vam estar a les Meses, vam fer d'interventors, vam estar totes les hores de les votacions defensant els col·legis amb el nostre cos (alguns vam ser agredits de manera brutal per les forces d'ocupació) i vam estar als recomptes de les paperetes. Tot això voluntàriament i sabent a què ens exposàvem.
Que vam sortir el 3 d'octubre i hem anat a totes les manifestacions a favor dels presos polítics i exiliats i seguim la nostra lluita, sempre pacífica, pel dret a l'autodeterminació.
És per això que ens declarem culpables de voler la República Catalana i d'haver empès els nostres representants polítics, ara empresonats o a l'exili, a posar urnes i tirar endavant el Referèndum, per la qual cosa,
SOL·LICITEM:
Que vista la nostra actuació, som nosaltres els qui hem d'ingressar a la presó a canvi dels actuals presos i preses polítiques, i ocupar el seu lloc en aquest simulacre de judici contra una majoria del poble català.
