"2nd wave: choppy  seas

The objectives of the Democratic Tsunami are ambitious. However, they are the same as, without much difficulty, a multitude can agree to. Rights, freedom, self-determination.

We will not tire of saying it: whoever defends a right defends it for the benefit of all. And rights, freedoms and self-determination are defended by exercising them. So the current frame cannot be to accept that «The sentence will be tough», for the options are: «Either acquittal or a response». Either freedom and rights, or a response.

The Democratic Tsunami is not intended to be just a reaction to the judgment of the Supreme Court or any other court. It is intended to remind the minority that holds power and which restricts, limits and nullifies rights and freedoms: "You are at the top, but we are everywhere." It also  appeals to those who are everywhere. It invites us to take the initiative. We were told by Joan Brossa: The people hold the true power, without realising. We are all the engine. And if necessary, it starts or stops when appropriate, intelligently and creatively. The time has come. We are ready. We are in countdown mode.

At once non-violent and determined, we resist and we will fight the repressive manoeuvre with the use of civil disobedience. To be effective, this civil disobedience must have a clear objective, iit must adapt to the circumstances and must be able to be prolonged over time. The battles that have been won, both past and present, show us the way: perseverance, determination and coherence. Creating the future.

The Democratic Tsunami does not arise from nowhere. The tsunami is many: it emerges to advance what we started a long time ago (in Arenys [2009], on September 11 [from 2012 on], on 9-N [2014], 1 and 3 October [2017]) and that we continue now. We do not stop: we continue, we learn and we move again. We come from afar. We  look ahead. Towards the defence and exercise of rights, freedom and self-determination. We are on the move.

The Democratic Tsunami has begun. And there is no force that can stop the power of the multitude that advances. "

Els objectius del Tsunami Democràtic són ambiciosos. Tanmateix són els mateixos que, sense gaire dificultat, posen d'acord una multitud. Drets, llibertat, autodeterminació.

No ens cansarem de dir-ho: qui defensa un dret el defensa en benefici de tots. I els drets, les llibertats i l'autodeterminació es defensen exercint-los. Per això, el marc actual no pot ser assumir que «La sentència serà dura»», sinó que les opcions són: «O absolució o resposta». O llibertat i drets, o resposta.

Tsunami Democràtic no pretén ser només una reacció a la sentència del Tribunal Suprem o de qualsevol altre tribunal. Pretén recordar a la minoria que ostenta el poder i que restringeix, limita i anul·la drets i llibertats: «Vosaltres sou a dalt, però nosaltres som a tot arreu». interpel·la també els que som a tot arreu. Ens convida a prendre la iniciativa. Ens ho deia Joan Brossa: el veritable poder el té, sense saber-ho, la gent. El motor som tots. I si cal, es posa en marxa o s'atura quan convingui, de manera intel·ligent i creativa. Ha arribat l'hora. Estem a punt. Som en temps de compte enrere.

Noviolents i determinats alhora, resistim I capgirem la maniobra repressiva amb l'ús de la desobediència civil. Per ser efectiva, aquesta desobediència civil ha de tenir un objectiu clar, adaptar-se a les ]circumstàncies i ser capaç de prolongar-se en el temps. Les lluites guanyades, tant passades com actuals, ens marquen el camí: perseverança, determinació i coherència. Creant futur.

Tsunami Democràtic no surt del no-res. El tsunami som molts: sorgeix per avançar en el que vam començar fa temps (a Arenys, els 11 de setembre, el 9-N, l'1 el 3 d'octubre) i que continuem ara. No ens aturem: seguim, aprenem i reprenem. Venim de lluny. Mirem endavant. Cap a la defensa i l'exercici de drets, la llibertat i l'autodeterminació. Estem en marxa.

El Tsunami Democràtic ha començat. I no hi ha força que pugui aturar el poder de la multitud que avança."
