Faced with a newly exceptional September 11th, the Catalan prisoners and exiled politicians once again call on Catalan society to carry out an exceptional mobilization.Before the ruling of the Supreme Court and while the repression against human, civil and political rights continues, we are convinced that we shall be able to make the next "Diada" demonstration a clamour for persistence and confidence in the future. We shall not let the excitement of building the country we want be taken from us.
Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, has to offer the world the clear and unquestionable message of streets full of commitment and transversality. The Diada demonstration has always been a great example of how, respecting the differences and nuances of each of us, together we have been able to grow and internationalize the collective cause for self-determination, to decide our political future in democracy and freedom. Everyone is welcome, nobody will ever be turned away.
1 October was possible because the common goals and the determination to assert our rights summed over and above the violence of the State. We know that one of the main objectives of repression is division. For this reason, the democratic strength of the sovereigntist movement, one election after another, can only be understood thanks to this clear will to build a shared future. So, against frustration, we must return to the serenity, generosity, maturity and determination of 1 0ctober.
Let's all commit ourselves to turn this 11 September into a new undisputed landmark of the democratic will of the people of Catalonia. The success of the Diada will be the best prelude to the response to the Supreme Court judgment, the best opportunity to highlight the strength and the potential of the sovereigntist movement; to say loud and clear that the only just verdict is the acquittal of all the charges by the various courts and the end to all judicial and police processes against all those who are persecuted for their commitment to the full liberty of our people. Peaceful and democratic mobilization has allowed us to move forward as a society.
On 11 September we have to say loud and clear that the only just sentence is the acquittal of all the defendants by the various courts. The violation of the political rights of Deputies, Senators, MEPs. Those of thousands of activists and, by extension, of millions of voters, as well as the dehumanization of the thousand people injured and of the more than two million 1 October voters. These are two sides of the same coin: repression.
The acting Spanish government continues to reject dialogue, a constructive dialogue without preconditions, with Pedro Sánchez imitating Mariano Rajoy in the irresponsibility of rejecting a political resolution to a political problem. Thus the State continues to ignore the violation of fundamental rights denounced, among others, by the United Nations. And we are on the verge of having fundamental rights and freedoms criminally punished.
Catalan society rejects repression and wants to freely decide its future. And we are convinced that it will not remain unmoved. Because this democratic retreat goes well beyond the independence issue and affects all citizens. And especially any political or social movement that wants to freely exercise its fundamental rights. That is why we once again call on all the democrats of our country, through the [Spanish] State in the international community to join in this defence of rights and freedoms.
In Mas d'Enric, Puig de les Basses and Lledoners [prisons], in Brussels, Geneva and St Andrews, we are lucky because every day we have had and felt the support of hundreds of thousands of Catalans who also denounce this injustice, who do not lose their will and who stubbornly work to live in a fairer and better country.
That is why, despite the walls or the distance between us, we talk to you with serenity and determination. We entrust ourselves to the spirit of dignity and courage of all the "Diada"s, that each one of you conveys to us at all times. With the serenity of knowing that we are doing all this together, we shall never leave anyone on the road by the wayside. It is these two conditions that will lead us to the full freedom of all this country's citizens, wherever they were born, wherever they came from and whatever they think.
On September 11th let us fill Barcelona with democratic dignity and freedom, fearlessly continuing to defend independence and the Catalan Republic as the best present and future project, and as the best democratic alternative, faced with a State that has no proposal for the citizens of Catalonia and that only responds with repression and with a permanent "NO".
With the memory of those who are no longer here, and for the future of those who have yet to come, to share this fight with all of you is an honour. To do it again, we shall have to be ready.

Dignitat democràtica i llibertat
Davant un 11 de Setembre novament excepcional, els presos/es i els exiliats/des polítics/ques catalans/es tornem a cridar a la societat catalana a protagonitzar una mobilització excepcional.Abans de la sentència del Tribunal Suprem i mentre la repressió contra els drets humans, civils i polítics continua, estem convençuts/des que sabrem fer de la manifestació de la propera Diada un clam de persistència I confiança en el futur. No deixarem que ens prenguin la il·lusió de fer el país que volem.
Barcelona, la capital de Catalunya, ha d'oferir al món el missatge clar i inapel·lable d'uns carrers plens de compromís i transversalitat. La manifestació de la Diada sempre ha sigut un gran exemple de com junts, respectant les diferències i els matisos de cadascú,hem estat capaços de créixer i d'internacionalitzar la causa col· lectiva per l'autodeterminació, per decidir el nostre futur polític en democràcia i en llibertat. Tothom hi és benvingut, ningú no hi serà mai vetat.
L'1 d'octubre va ser possible perquè els objectius comuns i la determinació de fer valer els nostres drets van sumar per sobre de la violència de l'Estat. Sabem que un dels principals objectius de la repressió és la divisió. Per això, la fortalesa democràtica del sobiranisme, elecció rere elecció, només s'entén des d'aquesta voluntat clara de construir un futur compartit. Així doncs, contra la frustració, cal tornar a la serenitat, generositat, maduresa i determinació de I'1-0.
Conjurem-nos per convertir aquest 11-S en un una nova fita indiscutible de la voluntat democràtica del poble de Catalunya. L'èxit de la Diada serà la millor avantsala de la resposta davant de la sentència del Tribunal Suprem, la millor oportunitat per escenificar la força i el potencial del moviment sobiranista; de dir alt i clar que l'única sentència justa és l'absolució de tots els encausats dels diferents tribunals i el final de tots els processos judicials i policials contra totes aquelles persones que són perseguides pel seu compromís amb la plena llibertat del nostre poble. La mobilització pacifica i democràtica ens ha permès avançar com a societat.
L'11-S hem de dir alt i clar que l'única sentència justa és l'absolució de tots els encausats/des dels diferents tribunals. La vulneració dels drets polítics dels diputats/des, senadors/es, eurodiputats/des. De milers d'activistes i, per extensió, de milions de votants, aixi com la deshumanització del miler de ferits i dels més de 2 milions de votants de I'1-0, sòn dues cares de la mateixa moneda: la repressió.
El govern espanyol en funcions segueix rebutjant el diàleg, un diàleg constructiu i sense
renúncies, amb Pedro Sánchez imitant Mariano Rajoy en la irresponsabilitat de rebutjar una resolució política a un problema polític. L'Estat, dones, continua ignorant la vulneració de drets fonamentals denunciada, entre d'altres, per les Nacions Unides. Mentre som a les portes de castigar penalment drets i llibertats fonamentals.
La societat catalana rebutja la repressió i vol decidir el seu futur amb llibertat. I estem convençuts/des que no restarà impassible. Perquè aquest retrocés democràtic va molt més enllà de l'independentisme i afecta a tota la ciutadania. I en especial a qualsevol moviment polític o social que vulgui exercir lliurement els seus drets fonamentals. Per això, fem de nou una crida a tots els demòcrates del nostre país, del conjunt de l'Estat i de la comunitat internacional a unir-seen aquesta defensa dels drets i les llibertats.
Des del Mas d'Enric, Puig de les Basses i Lledoners, des de Brussel·les, Ginebra i St Andrews, ens sabem afortunats i afortunades perquè cada dia hem tingut i sentit el suport de centenars de milers de catalanes i catalans que també denuncien la injustícia, que no perden l'anhel i treballen obstinadament per viure en un país més just i millor.
Per això, malgrat els murs o els quilòmetres de distància, us parlem des de la serenor i la determinació. Ens encomanem a l'esperit de dignitat i coratge de totes les diades, que ens encomaneu cadascú de vosaltres en tot moment. Amb la serenor de saber que tot això ho estem fent junts I no ens deixarem mai ningú pel camí. Aquestes dues condicions son les que ens portaran a la llibertat completa de tots els ciutadans d'aquest país, hagin nascut on hagin nascut, vinguin d'on vinguin i pensin com pensin.
L'onze de Setembre omplim Barcelona de dignitat democràtica i llibertat, sense cap por a seguir defensant la independència i la República Catalana com el millor projecte de present i futur, i com la millor alternativa democràtica, davant un Estat que no té cap proposta per a la ciutadania de Catalunya i que només respon amb la repressió i amb un "NO" permanent.
Amb el record dels qui ja no hi són i pel futur dels qui han de venir a compartir aquesta lluita amb tots vosaltres és un honor. Per tornar-ho a fer, cal tomar-hi a ser.
