A strongly-worded article by Xavier F. Domènech accusing Spanish politicians and media of having whipped up a hate storm against the Catalan independence movement. I hope he doesn't mind my publishing an English version.
1) The minister of something-or-other has said that with dialogue "coexistence [in Catalonia] will be recovered". Another, goes even further, and exclaims that the "social fracture" will end. But what are you talking about, you wretches? It was you, and your media, that sowed the seed of hatred!
2) The Catalan independence movement has conceived itself, from the very start, as integrative - not exclusive - peaceful and democratic. And if it made a mistake it was not to foresee the ability of Spanish politicians and media to impose a fictional narrative tailored to their interests.
3) The independence movement suddenly became a Nazi movement, violent, putschist, reactionary and identitarian, aggressive and coercive, which even had squads to scare those who spoke Spanish in public. Reality denied this insistently ....
4) ... but they continued to impose the narrative, bearing in mind the “Goebbelsian” rule of repeated lying over and over that becomes reality. Nor did they have any problem in Catalan children and the alleged "indoctrination" to open a new path of hate speech.

5) They talked about children as if they were plastic dolls. Creatures with flat encephalograms and without any criteria who lived isolated from reality while sinister characters subjected them to cruel torture if they let go a word in Spanish or an inconvenient thought.
6) Meanwhile, international organizations such as UNESCO, the European Parliament and the Council of Europe, among others, endorsed the Catalan education model and described it as a "successful model". And evidence like the one you can see in the image below had to be swallowed.
7) But they never rectified, on the contrary, they continued to maintain confidence in the excellence of the Goebbels method and, when they felt overcome, they had no problem in subjecting Catalan teachers to an indecent and disgusting lynching in the media.
8) Now they are announcing loud and clear that they will come to Catalonia to "restore coexistence" and "repair the fracture". The response should be memorable, by those that open the cover pages of the entire world press.

1) La ministra de no sé què, diu que amb diàleg es "recuperarà la convivencia". Un altre, encara va més enllà, i excreta que es posarà fi a la "fractura social". Però, de què esteu parlant, miserables? Si heu estat vosaltres, i els vostres mitjans els que han sembrat la llavor de l'odi!
2) L'independentisme català es va pensar a ell mateix, ja des de bon començament com a integrador, no excloent, pacífic i democràtic. I si va cometre error va ser no preveure la capacitat de polítics i mitjans espanyolistes d'imposar un relat fictici a mida dels seus interessos.
3) L'independentisme, de cop i volta, es va convertir en un moviment nazi, violent, colpìsta, reaccionari i identitari, agressiu i coaccionador, que fins i tot tenia escamots per acollonir a qui parlava castellà en públic. La realitat ho desmentia insistentment....
4) però ells van seguir imposant el relat conscients de la regla "goebelsiana" de la mentida repetida un i altre cop que es converteix en realitat. Tampoc van tenir inconvenient en utilitzar els nens catalans i el suposat "adoctrinament" per obrir una nova via de discurs de l'odi.
5) Parlaven dels nens com si fossin ninots de plàstic. Criatures amb encefalograma pla i sense cap criteri que vivien aïllats de la realitat mentre uns personatges sinistres els sotmetien a cruels tortures si se'ls escapava una paraula en castellà o un pensament inconvenient.
6) Mentrestant, organitzacions internacionals com UNESCO, el Parlament Europeu i el Consell d'Europa entre altres avalaven el model d'ensenyament català i el qualificaven com "model d'èxit". I s'havien d'empassar evidències com la que es pot veure en la imatge de sota.
7) Però mai van rectificar, al contrari, van seguir mantenint la confiança en les excel·lències del mètode Goebbels i, quan es van veure superats no van tenir inconvenient en sotmetre a mestres catalans a un linxament mediàtic indecent i repugnant.
8) Ara anuncien a bombo i platerets que vindran a Catalunya a "restablecer la convivència" i a "reparar la fractura". La resposta hauria de ser memorable, d'aquelles que obren portades a tota la premsa mundial.
