Support for candidates close to Laura Borràs and to the ideals of Independentistes d'Esquerres in Junts per Catalunya's primaries
The National Council of Independentistas d'Esquerres*, from our perspective as an independent organization:
We reiterate our support for Carles Puigdemont, who embodies the legitimate presidency of the Generalitat of Catalonia and the will to put into effect the results of the referendum on self-determination and the proclamation of the Catalan Republic, in October 2017. His presence at the helm is a determining factor for reinforcing of the persistence in the struggle for independence, and for it to become hegemonic, over retro-autonomist options.
We call for support for Independentistas d'Esquerres candidates Irene Negre and Eusebi Campdepadrós (for Tarragona), Jordi Pessarodona and Josep Sort (for Barcelona), Núria Marín Casas (for Lleida), Salvador Vergés (for Girona) and those close to Laura Borràs who represent the ideals of confrontation with Spain, the prioritization of independence and the improvement of living and working conditions.
We state that the primaries should not put an end to efforts to add to the candidacies of Junts per Catalunya people of recognized pro-independence and leftist convictions from all over the Catalan Countries and, where appropriate, with political formations with coinciding positions.
Finally, we want to denounce Spanish repression again, for not granting third degree status to pro-independence prisoners and we wish to point out that they waited to do so until after the approval of the Spanish Budget, so as not to jeopardize some parties' favourable vote.

El Consell Nacional d'Independentistes d'Esquerres, des de la nostra perspectiva com a organització independent:
Reiterem el suport a Carles Puigdemont, que encarna la presidència legitima de la Generalitat de Catalunya i la voluntat de fer efectiu el referèndum d'autodeterminació i la proclamació de la República Catalana, d'octubre del 2017. La seva presència al capdavant és un factor determinant per tal que la persistència en la lluita per la independència surti reforçada i hegemònica, per sobre de les opcions retro-autonomistes.
Cridem a donar suport als candidats d'Independentistes d'Esquerres Irene Negre i Eusebi Campdepadrós (per Tarragona), Jordi Pessarodona i Josep Sort (per Barcelona), Núria Marín Casas (per Lleida), Salvador Vergés (per Girona) i els afins a Laura Borràs que representen els ideals de confrontació amb Espanya, priorització de la independència i millora de les condicions de vida i de treball.
Manifestem que el procés de primàries no hauria d'esgotar els esforços per sumar a les candidatures de Junts per Catalunya persones de reconegut compromís independentista i d'esquerres d'arreu els Paisos Catalans I, si s'escau, amb formacions amb plantejaments coincidents.
Finalment, volem denunciar de nou la repressió espanyola en no concedir el tercer grau als presos i preses independentistes i volem constatar que s'han esperat a fer-ho després de l'aprovació dels PGE, per tal de no posar en dificultat el vot favorable d'alguns.
